ScanX (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the ScanX iOS app (“App”). By using the App, you agree to the terms of this policy.

ScanX is built to operate privately and fully offline.

User Data Stored Locally:

No Tracking or Analytics:

ScanX does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking libraries or data collection tools.

Crash Reports (Optional):

If you opt-in to share diagnostics with Apple, Apple may provide anonymized crash logs. These contain no personal data and no QR content.

All data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers and do not have access to your data. Deleting the app removes all stored data. Device-level backups (iCloud or computer) may include App data depending on your system settings.

4. Third-Party Services

ScanX does not use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Any content shared through iOS (e.g., Messages, Mail) is handled by those apps under their own privacy policies.

5. Children’s Privacy

ScanX is not directed to children under the age of digital consent in your region (e.g., 13 or 16). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as needed. Updates will be available on this page. Continued use of the App means you accept any updated terms.
